Poutine Queen, located at 4884 Athalmer Rd in Invermere, BC, has become a local gem, renowned for its delectable poutine offerings. Customers rave about the robust flavors, with a standout being the traditional poutine praised by Lacey “zeroenergy” Varty for its outstanding taste and exceptional customer service. The friendly staff, including the Poutine Queen herself, adds to the welcoming atmosphere, making every visit a delightful experience.
Patrons like Marc D. appreciate the generous portions and the variety, particularly the Donair poutine, which features extra toppings and is a favorite among many. With outdoor seating to soak up the beautiful Invermere scenery, Poutine Queen isn't just about great food; it's about creating memorable experiences. good food they put lots of bacon. the cesar salad had a bit to much cesar & the poutine had to much bacon but some people like that, that’s what my dad loves about this place. i would come back to try the other flavours. good service the lady who takes ur order is very friendly.

We stopped for a quick lunch, as many restaurants seem to be closed on Monday in Invermere. It was our first time trying Poutine Queen even though we're here every summer for a number of weeks. My wife decided on the traditional poutine with the crispy fries on the suggestion of the Poutine Queen herself. I went for the Donair poutine with the Yukon Gold fries. The poutines were quite large and had lots of flavourful gravy and cheese curds. The Donair poutine was definitely bigger due to all the additional toppings. We both greatly enjoyed our meals and we're definitely full afterwards. We both commented that the crispy fries seemed saltier than the Yukon Gold fries. However, the Yukon Gold fries didn't seem to hold up to the gravy as well as the crispy fries did, so it comes down to personal preference. The shop is very clean but quite small inside, just big enough for a handful of people and to place orders, but there's lots of seating outdoors where the beautiful scenery and weather can be enjoyed. The staff were very friendly and provided some great suggestions. We'll definitely stop again and try some of their other poutine creations in the future, although I may have a hard time straying away from the Donair poutine as it was so delicious.

As a fellow Valley foodie, this is the place to stop when your hunger sets in! Since they opened, when I go in, I ask them to make me my meal...anything they want... and I have never been disappointed. It’s a good way to make your way through the menu! From perfectly crisp fries on poutine to an incredible chicken burger and fresh salads, I am grateful to see this business reposition into a full time establishment. I wish them all the best and encourage all readers here to support this fabulous food business that is full of heartfelt staff who care and make deliciousness throughout the entire menu, that makes you look forward to your next visit!

I have had many donair in my lifetime, and this place is definitely up there. Everything was fresh and we had the opportunity to meet the owner. Brenda was hospitable and even waited for us before closing !!!! Definitely would recommend this place. If you love pizza try her other restaurant right next door!!

Excellent classic poutine. Efficient and very friendly service. Made me chuckle when owner introduced herself and then while serving the next customer said she was wiping out all the summer visiting Calgarians (I’m Calgarian) Cooked fresh, huge portion size (box wouldn’t close) Highly recommend this place for locals and visitors

Stopped in hoping for a good little Canadian treat and got way more than we bargained for. My husband said he’s been ruined for poutine anywhere else. It was that good. The Donair was huge and delicious. We will definitely be trekking it up from the states to come eat here again!!!

Worth every penny. Our family had a hotdog, grilled cheese, kids burger, mozza mushroom burger, bbq ranch bacon burger, and the bacon cheeseburger poutine. The burgers are big, fresh toppings - definitely made with love. The poutine was unique, flavours hit just right. The owner is a lovely lady and very passionate about her business.
